However, according to a statement and investigation by the Maharashtra State Cyber Police, the video has been analysed using advanced technology and identified as a deepfake. This AI-generated fake video does not feature Payal Gaming at all.

A certificate issued by the Office of the Additional Director General of Police confirmed that the clip was “tampered with and modified” using artificial intelligence tools. Based on Payal Dhare’s complaint, a formal case has been registered, and legal steps are being pursued against those responsible for creating and sharing the fake content.
